Chromebook - Disable Touchscreen

Disabling your Chromebook's touchscreen could be helpful for troubleshooting or if it is malfunctioning.


  1. Open the Chrome browser
  2. Type chrome://flags in the address bar
  3. Search for “debugging keyboard shortcuts”
  4. Select Enable from the drop-down menu
  5. Click Restart at the bottom
  6. Log in again and press Search+Shift+T to disable the touchscreen
